Sandra Oh to leave Grey's Anatomy
Noooooo! Just read on the website of The Hollywood Reporter that Sandra Oh (Christina Yang) will be leaving Grey's Anatomy at the end of season 10. This means that another one of my favourite people will be leaving. I'm going to miss her! Still - Sandra Oh is an a-ma-zing actress and I am already looking forward to seeing her bring an entirely new yet also amazing character to life!
I first fell in love with Grey's in 2006. I was a student living at a student hostel, had a tiny TV with rabbit ears that almost managed 'very little static' and a group of fellow fangirls who also lived in the hostel to discuss every episode with.
Meredith, Alex, George, Izzie and Christina captured my heart in a very stealthy way and once I met them they refused to leave. As a favour to her, I was setting a friend's VCR to tape something - what, I can't even remember. I needed to double check that there wasn't anything super-important on the videotape I needed to use and thus ended up catching about half an episode of Grey's. I sat down, I watched that half episode, and I was hooked.
It's been a while since I've been able to watch what I want when I want on TV which means it's been AGES since I last watched Grey's. Am re-watching season 6 now and am very much looking forward to watching so many new (to me) episodes!
