Photos of Tonight's Sunset
Here are some photos of tonight's sunset.
I can't say it enough: Our planet is truly beautiful and amazing.
Whatever you may dream about, whatever religious or spiritual views you may have, whatever you may think about what the future holds, whatever your views are about humanity, the economy, world politics, war and peace, climate change, global warming and other big issues that should concern us all - I hope we can all agree on one thing: Our planet is stunning, amazing and ridiculously beautiful.
As far as we know, our amazing planet is unique. It is in our solar system, at least. Other planets are certainly beautiful too, however humans exist on only one planet. Trees and flowers, birds and insects, fish and animals exist only here. Perhaps one day we'll make contact with sentient beings on other planets (or perhaps they will make contact with us!) and discover that they too live on a beautiful planet teeming with life, however until we figure out a way to get humans off our own planet and settled somewhere else, this planet is all we have. This home is all we have.
I don't think humans capable of destroying the planet, however instead of taking care of our home and keeping it beautiful, we are certainly doing our best to change it into a concrete jungle. Thankfully more and more people are realising that we are slowly but surely destroying our home, tearing it apart board by board, brick by brick, so to speak. While I am only one person with a camera and a smartphone and certainly can't save the world or change the way humanity thinks on my own, I want to do my bit to help make the world a better place for all those who live here. These photos are my way of saying "I love and cherish our home" and encouraging you to love it too. None of the photos were edited, I only added a watermark. They were taken on my (pretty old!) smartphone. The colours and the beauty are all natural, all nature.
