Blogging...

I've started and deleted lots of blogs. Have even had them for a few weeks or months sometimes. I've also always ended up deleting them.

I always end up wondering if I'm putting too much personal information online. I want to write about stuff that matters to me, but how to do that without giving potential stalkers or whatevers too much information is something I haven't quite figured out.

Do I mention what I do for a job? The country I live in? The city? My friends? My family? Where I'm from? What's going on in my life? How much information is too much?

I want people who take the time to read this to enjoy reading what I write. I want to put enough of myself in my writing that I can give people an insight into my mind, into my life. I want to be able to share my thoughts and feelings, to be able to vent when I need to, to let off some steam so to speak. 

I enjoy writing, enjoy sharing stories, enjoy giving my opinion - and yes, I'm an opinionated little thing! So - I'm trying this again.

How much info to share? Well, I'm not sure yet. At least I've started this off, have got another blog going, have a place where I can write what I want when I want how I want.

Now - who am I and why should I interest you? I'm female. I'm in my mid-twenties. I have a good job that I enjoy. I live in New Zealand. I was born in a smallish town over in The Netherlands, spent most of my life in big cities, and have been living in another smallish town for a few years now. I have friends and family here, the family being one of the reasons I moved here (from the city). I have a reasonably active social life. I'm single by choice. English is my second language. I'm University educated. My addictions are coffee and cigarettes. I try to take life with a very large grain of salt. 'Meh' is one of my favourite expressions. I'm loyal to a fault. I love laughing and joking. I'm a sci-fi nutter. I enjoy reading, watching movies and hanging out with my friends. I probably swear a bit too much. I love the sea. Enjoy doing silly quizzes on Facebook.
Umm.... how's that for enough info for now?
