My Interests

So, having decided to start writing a new blog, I need to figure out what to write about.
Back in Uni I learnt this technique called "Mind Mapping". Basically you get one central idea or topic and you just write down everything to do with it that comes into your head. So, my topic today is My Interests. I'm going to write some of them down and hopefully from there figure out stuff to actually write about.

All in all what I hope is a reasonably diverse list. I like learning, I like finding out new things. I like keeping up with what's going on in the world. I like learning about what makes people tick. I'm not much of a science person, cars don't interest me much, I like music and dancing but can't sing or play a tune and you really don't want me to try either. I have lots of interests but not that many social hobbies.

I'm an Aspie and sometimes feel like a bit of an introvert. Don't always like people around me or meeting new people. I like solitude and quietness but also love being out and about. Don't like being the centre of attention these days while I loved it as a child. I'm not looking forward to the big 3-0 which is less than four years away. I'm single without children. Have been to University but didn't stay to finish the degree. I can get worked up about the strangest things and sometimes couldn't give a toss about stuff others get worked up about. I like exercising but am not some sort of Energizer bunny always on the go. Team sports are not my thing.

Basically, I'm a work in progress.
Mentally, emotionally, socially, physically, spiritually and in pretty much all other ways there are. I'm learning and developing and slowly but surely figuring out who I am and what I want to do with my life. Welcome to the journey!
