My Day Today
A description of my day so far. Dramatised (if only a little) to insert humour, edited because my exact daily schedule is no-one's business really and polished because certain things simply don't need to be shared online with strangers!
Wake up.
Get dressed.
Make coffee.
Sit down to drink coffee while reading.
Make myself breakfast and head out for the morning.
Come back home, make coffee, then sit down to write down some thoughts.
Get up to make more coffee - Walk to kitchen, rinse coffee cup and turn Senseo on.
Wipe bench and stove, promise myself I'll clean the kitchen floor today.
Fill sink for first load of dishes. Load washing machine and turn on.
Sit down again. Turn laptop on, check emails.7
Remember I wanted coffee earlier - head back to kitchen, actually make cup of coffee.
Check Twitter and reTweet interesting Tweets from my timeline.
Sit while staring into space contemplating gender inequality and literacy rates around the world.
Remember that I made coffee and manage to drink it before it gets cold.
Head back to kitchen. Actually do first load of dishes, then start on second load of dishes.
Look out window, wonder why a man down below is yelling at trees and/or invisible people.
Consider whether man might be drunk or stoned; remind self not to judge as he stumbles.
Having decided that man down below is probably drunk, still consider possible mental health issues man might be dealing with that would cause him to yell at trees and/or invisible people.
Contemplate heading outside to take photos of trees... Or clouds... Or invisible people...
Realise I'm not multi-tasking at all and return to doing dishes while day-dreaming about taking prize-winning photos with a super-duper-amazing camera.
Finish dishes. Unload washing machine. Hang up washing. Reload washing machine.
Sit down, start writing draft blog posts and articles based on what I've been reading and thinking.
Mentally list today's accomplishments. Write down accomplishments. Decide to insert some humour and add the words "you're reading the list now" near end of list after writing introduction.
Schedule post for end of afternoon after re-reading the words 'edited because my exact daily schedule is no-one's business really' before getting up to vacuum.
